Conscious Fitness – Juna's Approach
Conscious Fitness invites YOU into your body! Have you ever had the feeling when you exercise, that you go somewhere else while your body robotically moves on the treadmill, counts 40 more sit ups with the passion of a doorknob? Where’s the joy of being in your body? Where’s the joy of movement? Don't get me wrong: sometimes I LOOOOVE the repetitive moves on the treadmill, the counting to 100 sit ups, I LOVE IT!
Conscious fitness isn’t what you do, it’s HOW you do it!
When you move in ways that give you joy and pleasure and honor your body, you are moving in a more conscious way that ultimately creates a happier you with less strain and injury and lasting results. If your body has suffered through traditional fitness programs that take YOU out of the equation, are you ready to gift your body the loving attention and joy of movement it deserves?
Any one of my Conscious Fitness Classes whether it’s Nia, Stretch and Tone, or the new Roots class, is designed to motivate and guide you into a greater and happier relationship with your body.
With my three classes, you have a wide variety of movements to not only condition and train your body , but to engage ALL of YOU. For weight loss, take 4-5 classes/week and for healthy maintenance take 2-3 classes/week. Nia offers the most cardio conditioning, among countless other benefits. Stretch and Tone is great for muscle toning, flexibility, and fat burning. Roots offers strength, flexibility, mobility and stability conditioning on the floor.
All classes include music that is designed to stimulate as well as relax and heal your body. All classes have the components of training you to come home to your body, to deepen your relationship with your body, to release toxic thought and emotional patterns embedded on a cellular level and to empower you to live with more consciousness.
